Lucy Furman letter, 22 April 1923.

Writes from Hindman Settlement School to Edward A. Jonas, thanking him for writing a positive article about her which recently appeared in the Indianapolis Star. Furman knew Jonas in her youth and briefly reminisces about their time together in Henderson, Kentucky when she was a girl. Furman also writes a few words about her grandfather and notes that "Pearl" was her family nickname.
